Privacy
Rewatch Ledger is built to know nothing about who you are.
What is stored
- Your review sheets (game, mode, role, result, date, the optional recording link as text) and your notes.
- A SHA-256 hash of your ledger's private key. The key itself is never stored, so we cannot look it up or send it to you again.
- Short-lived rate-limit counters keyed on a salted hash of your network address, deleted after two days.
What is not collected
No account, name, email address, age, school, team or location is asked for or kept, from anyone of any age. Please do not type anyone's personal details into a note. There are no analytics services and no tracking cookies, and nothing is sold or shared. The site's own scripts, styles and fonts are all served from this site; the only outside service any page loads is the banner ad from adengine.us on the public pages, described under Advertising, which also counts one page view per page as a daily total.
The private link
Anyone who has your ledger link can open and change it, so keep it to yourself. The link appears in the web server's access log like any web address (the site's own error log blanks it out); those logs stay on the server, readable only by its operator, and are not shared. This browser remembers the link in its own local storage for the My ledger page; you can forget it there at any time.
Cookies
Pages with a form set one security cookie (to block forged form posts). There are no tracking cookies.
Deleting
Delete a review, or the whole ledger, from the ledger itself: it is gone from the site at once. Copies can stay for a while in the site's backups, which exist only to restore the site after a fault and are never published or shared: the nightly database backups roll off after 14 days, and the backups taken when the site is updated are kept longer (the latest few updates on the server, plus the operator's own archive). A ledger not opened for about 18 months is deleted automatically.
Advertising
The home page, How it works and Pricing show one banner ad from AdEngine (adengine.us), the small ad network run by WeldonPC, the company behind this site. For now the ads are for WeldonPC's own services. Your ledger and its reviews, print sheets and CSV files, the start form, My ledger, this page and the terms show no ad, so a ledger link never reaches adengine.us.
To show an ad, your browser loads a script from adengine.us, asks it for one banner, loads the banner image, and reports once that the page was viewed and once that the banner was shown. Like any website, adengine.us receives your network address (IP address), your browser type and the address of this site with those requests.
- No cookies, no profile. AdEngine sets no cookies, gives you no ID and does not track you from site to site.
- How your network address is used. adengine.us looks up the approximate city for your address in a location database kept on its own server (nothing is sent to anyone else), so that ads meant for one area are shown only there. It also uses the address to count each ad view or click only once and to leave out robots and WeldonPC's own office traffic. The address is not stored with the counts; the temporary entries made from it expire within six hours and are cleared from the server within two days.
- What is kept. Daily totals only: page views for this site, and views and clicks for each ad. The adengine.us web server also keeps a standard access log (network address, time, address requested, referring site, browser) for security; it is deleted on a rolling schedule.
- Clicking an ad passes through adengine.us, which counts the click, and then opens the advertiser's site, which has its own privacy policy.
- Nothing about you is sold or shared.
AI
None. Nothing you write is sent to any AI service.
